ABA Therapy

AGES 1 TO 6 YEARS OLD*

What is ABA Therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy utilizes learning principles to understand and modify behaviors. This approach focuses on the ways in which the environment and consequences influence learning. ABA therapy utilizes reinforcement to shape socially significant behaviors and skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Programs are data-driven and individualized to best serve each client.

Early Intervention

Early intervention refers to therapies that are delivered to children before they reach school-age. Early intervention focuses on bridging the gap in developmental milestones to best prepare the child for their school years. The primary focus of an early intervention program is to develop age-appropriate communication skills,  social skills, and daily living skills.

Caregiver Guidance

Caregivers are a huge part of a child's development and success. At Naya Behavioral Health, caregivers are provided with guidance and training throughout their child's ABA journey. This is done to ensure that progress is maintained and to ensure that all members of the child's team (family, clinicians, teachers, etc.) are confident in their ability to support the child's needs. ABA is most effective when care is individualized and collaborative.
